Who is this Yula person anyway?

My passion is live performance. Whether it's a pub or live music venue, jazz club or a wedding, I can bring the passion and excitement of live music to your event.

I am a classically trained singer with a wealth of performance experience in a diverse range of genres. I've recorded pieces for radio, premiered new works written for me by contemporary composers, sung on soundtracks for short films and dance tours and can be heard on a new CD by Frank Denyer recently released by Mode records of New York.

I hope you enjoy exploring my site, please feel free to contact me if you'd like me to sing for you. Although I am based in London, I frequently travel all across the South of England and the Midlands for work.

If you'd like to book me for an event please use the details on the Booking page. Not all dates are shown on the Gigs page, as some private bookings never make it on to the website. I am also sometimes available at short notice so please give me a call or send an email to check availability.

I also sing with 10 piece International function band Top Catz, London based covers band Cover Story and with several Abba tribute bands! I work with a variety of musicians and composers, including pianist Alex Windsor, and pianist/composer Steve Parker, and am always interested in new collaborations or projects, including work for film, dance, stage and recording.

For your peace of mind, I'm a member of the Musician's Union which gives me £10,000,000 of Public Liability Insurance for all events I perform at.
